Privacy, affiliate & data disclosures
Written in plain language, because the value of this product depends on you being able to trust exactly where each number came from.
What we fetch, and how
When you paste a product link, our server — never your browser — requests that public page once, following at most a few redirects, with a size and time limit. Private, local and non-public hosts are refused.
We read only what the shop itself publishes as structured data: JSON-LD, microdata, OpenGraph tags or a public Shopify product endpoint. We do not bypass logins, paywalls or anti-bot protection, and we do not scrape hidden content.
If a field is not published, we say it is missing. We never estimate a price, shipping cost, stock level, specification or seller.
Accuracy limits
A live check is a snapshot of one moment. Prices, stock and shipping change without notice, and shops sometimes publish stale structured data.
Always confirm the final amount, delivery cost and availability on the retailer's own checkout page before paying.
Affiliate and commercial relationships
Some retailer links may carry an affiliate or referral parameter. Where that is the case it never changes the price you pay, and it never changes ranking: ordering is derived from verified all-in price, freshness, stock and deterministic retailer evidence only.
Merchant sources are listed with their legal identity, returns policy and approval status in the admin registry, and their runtime state is published on the Live coverage page.
Who sells to you
The retailer is always the seller and the merchant of record. You pay the retailer directly on their own site.
Notsu OÜ acts only as a disclosed purchasing agent for you. It does not take title to goods, does not hold your funds and is not a party to the sales contract.
Your data
Your fishing profile, saved items, analyses, price watches and notifications are stored in your own account rows and are readable only by you under row-level security. Money and role tables cannot be written from the browser at all.
We do not sell personal data. Analytics, where enabled, are consent-safe and aggregate only — no third-party advertising trackers are embedded.
You can delete a saved analysis, a price watch or a notification at any time from the relevant page.
Fishing regulations
Gear advice is technical, not legal. Licences, seasons, closed waters, minimum sizes, bag limits and permitted methods are set by your local authority and are your responsibility to check before fishing.
