Tie it step by step

   Standing line Moving tag end

   Step 1 of 5

   Clinch: tag through the hook eye, five turns, back through the eye loop.

   Step 2 of 5

   Davy: overhand around the standing line with the tag through the eye.

   Step 3 of 5

   Pass the tag through the overhand again for the double Davy.

   Wet, seat gently — fine tippet burns easily.

   Trim to 1 mm so it does not catch the leader.
